Even though I am on a small hiatus I will be down for an order. I well need 2-row, MO, Pils and Wheat and maybe some crystals.

Zym, If you want to get rid of some carapils I will take some. I actualy have some on the order I have started with NB.

maybe everyone can get on board to split up a bag of crystal this year. I have a ton of c65 from last year so I won't be needing that :P

My pace has really slowed in the last few months as I've been trying to get my system running in my basement and it's taking longer than expected. I should be ready for a couple of sacks some time this spring though.
Kegged: AIPA, Hefeweizen, Blond Ale, Smoked Porter, Extract Mild
Primary: Trub and other crud
On Deck: Coffee Brown
Brew Queue: Winter Warmer, some lagers.

I haven't done an AG batch since September. It's very unsettling.

Finding time to brew isn't the problem, it's finding the time to get my system up running. I'm going from a straight infusion system to an electric HERMS. It's mostly finished but (as usual) I'm having trouble getting motivated to finish the last 10%. If you need someone to complete 90% of a project in record time, I'm your man. You better hire someone else to finish it, though.

EDIT: I did get my HERMS coil made last night. At this point it's mostly making connections and making sure all the electronics are working properly. Plus a few other peripherals, like a steam exhaust hood. I might try to get it done tonight. Maybe brew later in the week.

Didn't quite get it finished, but I got all the parts I needed and got the steam hood made. I should be able to finish the rest some night this week. I almost forgot that the wife and kid are going away this weekend. I should easily be able to knock out two batches.

The system is just about ready to rock, I did a test run today. I just need to swap out a solenoid and insulate my kettle (kinda optional, but it will help with temp ramps), then I'm good to go for weeknight brewing. I'm going to try to brew every two weeks for the next few months, get my kegs all filled up for the spring/summer.

So what are people thinking of picking up this year? I've used about half of my munich, MO and US pale ale so far. I have a little bit of GP left and plenty of pilsen and wheat (although that could change since I'll be making an Oktoberfest and a dunkelweizen soon I think). I was considering picking up some vienna this year since I've never used it but I'd probably want to split a bag with someone.

I would be down for some Vienna. There were a few recipes that I wanted to brew that called for it and I had to run to the local store to get it. I will be getting a bag of both wheat and pilsen some 2 row of course and some more MO. Might also try a bag of Optic or Halcyon.

Maybe should also start thinking about what specialty malts we will want.

I finally got a damn beer in the fermenter. The brew session went nice with the new HERMS setup. I'll definitely be doing some weeknight brewing the next few months.

I'm thinking of doing some more continental lagers this year. Definitely interested in more pils, munich and vienna.

Have you posted anything about your new setup? I'd be interested to hear about it with perhaps some comparison to other types of setups.
