Just bought myself the Black Ops the other day. Or did i? They say it doesn't exist.
Blah, blah, blah.
I'm looking forward to trying it, but at the same time am hesitant. What if I'm unimpressed after having spent $20 on a .75 liter bottle? Guess there's a price to pay for experience. I'm gonna be a bit pissed if I don't enjoy it, but from what I've read, it should be good.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist. I can't find it anywhere around here. The one store that I know of in Atlanta that got some sold out in 45 minutes. Congrats on finding it, let us know how it is.

I got a bottle from a friend who owns a package shop. They only got one case and he set one aside for me.

I don't know when I'll actually try it. It will probably age in the fridge for a couple of years just because I can never seem to find the right "occasion" to drink special beers.

OK, so I tried it. I would say it's a bit too boozy. They must have aged it on bourbon for a while, or added some in. I found it a bit overpowering. Felt like I had to look for the oak, vanilla and chocolate notes. Sure, they were there. But they musta been hidin'. I don't regret spending the $$, but I won't be buying it anytime soon at that price. I'm sure that it would have conditioned well had I held it a while. Definitely a sipping beer. Took me all night to finish it off.

I have 2 bottels of this and think I will let them cellar for a year or two.
