If it's any comfort to ya, I like Best MUCH better than Weyermann. Although I haven't tried the floor malted. Don't sweat it....Best is great stuff.

The last two sacks of pils malt I have picked up were Best Malz. I liked Durst Turbo Pils until it became tough to find and then I switched to Best Malz. I like their Vienna and Munich too.

That's the one I get. It clocks in around 10L, I think so it's nice for something like a Festbier (and so many other things) and if you don't want too much of that character, I just use less. I did pick up the 6L stuff when the 10L was out of stock and I think I used it in something that's in primary now. FTR, I did find Durst Turbo Pils at a place in MI that charged something like $50 for the sack (shipping too, of course) and it might be nice to compare the Durst and the BM with the same recipe just to see.Yeah, I really love the Best Muncih II.

The Floor malt is a different malt grown and malted in Czech Rep. Bojos or Tolar. I think the regular Bohemian pils is Hanka. Don't know what variety the regular Weyermann pils is. I get a honey like sweetness from the floor malt. I switched to BM for this batch cause I felt the floor malt was too malty to be in style. Next batch I will blend 50/50. More info from Weyermann: https://www.weyerman...nue=4&sprache=1If it's any comfort to ya, I like Best MUCH better than Weyermann. Although I haven't tried the floor malted.
