Kegging up a Chinook/Citra APA and I may brew if I can find the time.  Choices are:

Red-X Wheat with Mosaic

Saison with Motueka

German Pilsner

I will let the kids pick a name out of a hat to decide what I brew.

how do you like the calypso?  I have some but it may not make the next freezer cleaning.

It can be a little rough at first.  I may reconsider during the mash/sparge.

I'll be brewing a hoppy (german hoppy) belgian blonde. Tomorrow. Just a small batch for War of the Worts at Coppertail.

Little bit about Coppertail... My club just got a sizeable donation from the president, Kent Bailey. What a hell of a guy. We just got it last night. My buddies and I were staring, dumbfounded. We just became a 5031C or whatever the hell it is this year. We're going to have to do something really special for Kent.

Just got home from brewing at coppertail for War of the Worts. I used opal hops. They were really damn good smelling. I'm gonna use them in some more beers, especially a german pils.

I was curious about opal. I saw a saison recipe that called for them, please report back on how they are.
