Yep i am fairly new here but been lurking for a while . Somehow i got here thru high tests mead site. Anyhow i need a proven dandelion wine or mead (methyglyn) recipe for 1 gallon . Can any of u folks help a newbie out? I have prolly only brewed around 50/75 gallon of mead/ braggot/ wine total so i am sure i am a newbie compared to some.

I've never tried it.
I do know that you need 1 Quart of cleaned flowers (ALL green parts removed) per gallon of finished wine mead.
I'd venture to guess that a Starting Gravity of around 1.100, using a clean Honey like Clover (or dandelion), a clean yeast intended for White Wine, a Staggered nutrient addition, and a slow cool primary, would be w'd try, myself.

If it isn't on Jack Keller's page, I don't know where you'd find one.

I currently have about 1.5 gallons of dandelion mead waiting for something to be done with it. I used a quart baggie full of just the yellow parts of the flower (which took forever to pick). It is quite plant-y in flavor, so I am planning on blending it, but not sure with what yet.

the forever to pick descriptor, is the reason I haven't made any myself
