I've been able to brew recently, 5 gallons of: cream ale, american amber, rye ipa, hefeweizen. These are for an upcoming event that I was asked to bring beer for later this week.

Before that, I had done 20 gallons of a flanders red to be combined with another 50 gallons for the solera barrel that is now filled and is going along.

I'm breaking in a new 20 gal megapot this weekend with an experiment. Brewing up 15 gals of a Belgian to be split between 3 different yeasts for taste testing this summer. I will likely do a 5 gal batch of something for the warmer weather, leaning towards MLPA.

Could be....maybe I've got it backwards.

my goal is a cream ale this weekend with a little flaked corn.   I'll most likely hit up the forum for some tips.   I'm being lazy again and doing extract....

So how are you converting the flaked corn?

The extract kit uses 1/4 lb biscuit, I thought I might just take another 1/4lb of the flaked maize and steep it together.

You need a diastatic malt in there.  Add in  lb. of pale or pils malt.

Just finished the boil on my Amarillo/Citra IIPA-stock ale thingy.

Columbus for the boil, Amarillo for a hop-burst from 15 min to flame-out, and now Citra for a 30-min hopstand before chilling.

The basement smells like paradise, or, Citra + some Amarillo and a bit of Columbus dankness mixed in.  Awesome.

I made a Citra-Amarillo APA a few days ago. Something I'm trying to get turned around in about 12 days. I know that smell you are talking about. Sofaking good.

Should be no issue really.  I did a 9 day beer last year for the 4th of July.  Perfect no, but it was still pretty damn good.

Yep, I'm going to hit this one with Biofine at kegging too.

Its the grist from your simcoe pale with 44 IBU of Apollo and 50g each Amarillo and Citra in the whirlpool and probably 25g each dry in a single addition. US-05. OG1.055. 6 gallons end-boil.

Got a suggestion as to how much Biofine will do the trick?

For IPA's I go with 2 tablespoons.  Although that is for about 4oz of dry hops.  With just about 2oz in yours I think 1 may be just fine.

Looks like a nice beer, something I would brew myself.

Perfect, I'll do just that. Thanks.

When I made your Simcoe PA  a lot was given away and very well received. It lasted until about day 21 or so. I've got several social events coming up so I am hoping this one goes down just as quick.

That hop combo will be excellent and should make for a crushable beer!

I made yellow fizzy beer.  40% of the grist was Basmati Rice.  60% 6-row.  Turned out nice, I would have to look but maybe 30 IBUs.
