Sweet, prepped a bit ago for tomorrow.  Grains and hops smelled nice............

Well,

for the most part, if you want to get snockered, you can't do better than the mass produced product.

There is considerable quantity discount when you buy your grain and hops by the trainload.

 

But we all do like the craft aspect of the hobby.  And for the most part (labor cost aside) we come out more expensive than storebought.

 

HOWEVER... Once I brewed 25 gal of Morehouses Black cat clone at a materials cost considerably below $100.

Giving the selling price at $5 a pint. I think that was a kilobucks worth of beer.

 

They all don't work out that way.
