Hey Fellas, curiosity finally got the best of me and I ordered both the Vermont strain and the Saison Blend from Yeast Bay. I've been reading and watching their site long enough and thought I would give it a shot. Has anyone used either of these yeasts?https://www.theyeast.../saison-blend-i

I have the saison blend in a beer right now. The only issue is that it is part of a few other strains I threw in there to make a "funky" beer.

Everything I have read about their stuff has been good.

So the base beer was something like Pils and Munich malt similar to what you would do for a Helles.  I then added the saison blend, Funkytown and the dregs from a bunch of sour beer to see what would happen.  I noticed this week a pellicle is forming.

Definitely not a beer for Ken!

I am debating picking up some of the yeast they have on sale ... but I am trying to convince my self I do not need more!
