Had this beer from a local brewery at a tavern last night. Putting a Hefeweizen on nitro was an interesting way to serve it, and kind of brilliant in a way.It seemed to minimize the banana, but instead focused on more of the clove/vanilla notes. Of course the lower carb level gave it a softer, creamy mouthfeel. Also, the head was ridiculous. It was like whipped egg whites and actually piled up over the top of the glass like an ice cream cone

Sounds like something non-traditional I would like to give a try. Did they serve it at a warmer temp than usual as well?
