A coworker and I were talking a few weeks ago and she said "People must think we are drunks, because when we talk it's only about beer."      She is right, but like I told her, I might go weeks without having a beer . Doesn't mean I don't like to talk about beer styles, breweries, etc.

The wife and I grabbed a couple pints last night when we went out for dinner.  Other than that day, I don't think I have had a beer in almost 2 weeks.

i think the generally accepted definition of alcoholism is 3 drinks in a session 3 or more times per week on a regular basis.

not me.  I rarely go over 2 per session.  but yes, it could be more than half.

Weeks I work nights I drink very little. When I work days about 1-2 with dinner.
