Its a good thing I don't live nearby. I'd be right over to help with that sample.

Perhaps some of this could be somehow packaged and somehow carried by someone in a brown truck and somehow deposited at your place of residence.

Well, I was not suggesting that at all. However...

But seriously that's up to wether or not you want to go through the trouble.

I will taste it first and see how I like it. I would certainly not send you inferior beer, that's for sure. My guess is that it will be pretty decent because I didn't really go anywhere that I haven't been (super high sulfate, etc) except for more hops. I will update after I sample it! Cheers.

Okay, I had 2 glasses of this beer tonight while I was making & eating dinner. I'm very happy with it. I feel like the hops are not quite as sharp and pungent as the commercial version but that could possibly be resolved with a bit more sulfate in the water. The balance is good. The hops are fresh and there is A LOT of hop flavor and aroma. The beer is pretty cloudy at the moment but that should take care of itself. I went ahead and put it into one of the draft fridges so I could serve it because I really want this beer to be served while the hops are at their peak. I would consider using this water as a base and keep adding sulfate on subsequent attempts. I'll post a pic when it's a bit clearer. I think I sucked up a bit of yeast when I sent it to the keg so a couple days at these colder temps should help. Cheers peeps.

I think if you got closer to 100ppm on the SO4 you would see the hops popping a bit more.  Sounds like a good beer though.

Thanks Drez. I think I will keep bumping it up and check the difference. I really like this recipe and I will stay with everything else (grains, hops, yeast) and just futz with the water with the hope of turning it up just a bit. I've been drinking other stuff since I put this beer on tap and my wife has been drinking wine lately so maybe I should just keep drinking it.

I tapped a glass of this again tonight while I made dinner. It's great. The balance, the flavor and aroma are outstanding. It's very hoppy for my tastes. But I will say... I'm appalled by the look of it. It's as cloudy as I have ever seen and what's weird is that it was CRYSTAL CLEAR in the secondary. I mean REALLY clear. So all of this occurred when I added 3 ounces of dry hops? It's getting clearer but I'm still appalled. Appalled I tell you!! :D

That's not weird. That just means you did it right! Enjoy your cloudy hops!

Dude, it looks like a radler or hefeweizen in the glass. We can't have that here. We just can't! :P Okay, kidding. My guess is that it will keep getting clearer but this is one muddy mess right now.

Funny. Yes, it will slowly get clearer and, unfortunately, less hoppy.

Hopefully you drink it all before it clears up!
