After watching and listening to Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for president, we have decided we won't report on Trump's campaign as part of The Huffington Post's political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump's campaign is a sideshow. We won't take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you'll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.

How is Trump's name recognition not 100?

Hispanics who don't speak English ;)

I want him to get stay in the race long enough that they have to change, even if it means getting the Republican nomination.

The Donald™ steps on his dick again

Trump said McCain "is a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured." The comment drew some boos from the audience.

Presidential candidate Donald Trump revealed a little-known episode of personal heroism from his youth on Saturday, telling an Iowa audience that he narrowly avoided capture in Vietnam by remaining in the United States for the duration of the war.

“The Cong were after me,” Trump said, visibly stirred by the memory. “And then, just in the nick of time, I got my deferment.”

I love how the media and my liberal friends are all "ZOMG Republicans actually love and support this guy."  He is a rich political freakshow.  This early in the cycle we can stretch our legs, see who is getting in the race and watch the clown.  As things progress, things will settle down, someone a lot more normal will emerge on top and we can get back to both parties screwing us just in different ways.

LOL  Nice comparision.  :D

OMFG, I can't see any military, or former military, voting for him now.

Dude, he's getting a lot of first and seconds in polls.  Clearly there *are* Republicans who actually love and support him, or at least his views.  Now, his military quotes today will probably ruin him with those who were stoked on his policy stance on illegal immigration, as the staunch anti-immigration share a lot of an overlap in a venn diagram with those who are very pro-military.

what I see as some of my repub friends are saying is that despite their disagreement with some of his ideas, they are completely enamored with his 'out-spokeness', the no BS attitude, and his 'fukc you too' personna.

gonna be a great primary!!!!

While he is just a blowhole, someone with more true political background who shares those type of radical ideas might not be the worst thing for this country.

You know, someone who is a real Maverick
