This is what I want to do with mine

https://www.brews-br...ka#entry1802759

ETA: it also came up in the recent blonde ale thread

you make a saison with it?

when I read the description of the hop I have to be honest that wasn't what I was expecting.

I think it would be good in Blonde as suggested or even make for an interesting twist on a pilsener. Also it will mix just fine in APA/IPA but could get lost if your not careful because it's contribution tends to be more subtle than your typical american hops and the louder southern hemisphere hops.(galaxy, nelson, etc.)

it sounded all fruity which made me think an APA or something.  I guess I was misreading that.  Saison sounds nice though.

No, no…it does have some fruit to it. It's just not going to be Amarillo or Citra type stuff or strength. I'd use it in an APA but probably not all by itself.

Well, the IIPA I am drinking is motueka and galaxy. Seems to be a great combo.

I havent used Sterling but that would make some sense given its 1/3 Saaz heritage, no?

I like the description for the one hop, Junga: Brewing styles, ales and lagers. Well that narrows it down. Yep, a lot of varieties I have not seen.

I have a pound of them from the last sale, I need to give them a try in something.

I suggest ale or lager. I know that's a narrow area but do your best. :PI will be honest... there have not been a ton of new hops that blew me away. I know I'm not a typical hop-loving brewer but I have whiffed more times than not trying to brew with some nutty hop that has been grown in Papua New Guinea since 1800 or something brand new that contains magic dust and fairy sprinkles. I continue to experiment but not as much.
