I'm pretty certain we wouldn't go through 10 gallons of a crazy hoppy beer.  At least not with this crowd!

The Igloo ice cube is popular around here, if you want to be real lazy or don't want to cut a hole, a guy in my hombrew club made a lid for his made totally out of great stuff.

With that many, I would've thought a Jockey box would be more practical, but if it works, I suppose the cost of a jockey box is unnecessary!

We are finally working on a bigger club set up with a jockeybox to go with the four tapper on the end (which is the current club system). The others are individuals personal rigs.

Everything went well... only two slight hiccups.

Had two kegs chilled to 32 and drove the hour to Fon du Lac.  The room was ready in the morning, so took the kegs up.  The cousin wasn't there yet with his buckets, so figured they would be fine until after golf and dinner.  In the evening, he brought the bucket I posted earlier, but also brought a 10 gallon Igloo.  He had two of them and realized they would hold better.  Filled them up with ice and all was good in the morning.  Loaded them up to go to the park and here is where the first hiccup came.

We left all the ice water in there.  The were heavy enough, so under normal traffic would not be an issue.  Did not account for the inattentive jackass that decided to pull out of a parking lot.  SWMBO went into defensive driving mode with application of some brakes initially and some swerving into the left lane (road was 2 lanes each way), but unfortunately, despite the fact I was holding onto it, the bucket fell forward dumping all the water and most of the ice onto the golf clubs and into the second row (vehicle is a crossover).  I was pissed at the driver, but no property damage and no physical injury.  Ice was replaced.

Second hiccup was very minor.  The cobra tap on my cousins rig broke.  Not to worry though.  We were only serving one of my kegs at a time, so he used my spare.

In all, we had about 150 people, of which maybe 25 or 30 were underage.  The first keg of wheat was done in about 2 hours.  My cousins Pilsner followed about an hour and a half later.  6 hours after it started, my second keg was gone.  Oh... and the half barrel of water Miller Lite?  There was still at least half the keg left.  Everyone loved the beer we made.  Both the Hefe I made and the Pilsner tasted great.

Thanks for the advise.

Hosting parties is a lot of work so I wouldn't mind bringing kegs to people's houses for their parties.  How do you guys deal with cloudy beer due to transportation?

So I will be transporting a keg from here to Galena, IL. Leaving today in a few hours. It will be on ice the whole time of the journey that will take us till tomorrow afternoon after a overnight stop. I will post a pic when I get there and get it tapped. It is a Drez special with a few changes, but has had plenty of hops. Looked pretty clear when I kegged so we will see.

Good luck with the transport!  Hopefully an asswad doesn't decide to pull out in front of you so you have to take evasive action and dump all your water and ice keeping your keg cold.

BTW... was in Galena this last Spring with the Boy Scouts.  Would love to take SWMBO back for a weekend.  Awesome looking little town.

So I just got to Galena. I brought the keg up to the room and the first thing I did was tap and this is the result. Not bad, has some chill haze. I'm sure it will clear up a little by tomorrow as well.
