As some of you saw I bought a pound on sale from hopsdirect.  Any thoughts on hop pairings?  Styles of beer?  Things to know about this hop?  It's 100% new to me.

Lemons and limes, IIRC. I tried them in conjunction with some other hops and my take on it is that they are relatively weak if used with other hops. I would like to see something simple (blonde ale, etc) with a simple grain bill and ALL Motueka so you can actually get the feel for them. Mix them with any other more-aggressive hop and the Motueka may be lost.

I'm pretty sure I'm out of magnum but I do have nugget and galena now.  On a beer with only moderate IBUs I'm guessing those would be fine.  Maybe a new version of the drez pale ale is in order with this new hop.  That grain bill def let's the hops shine.  Worst case if I didn't like it I could always dry hop it with something else.

Happiness is a Warm Pun by Brewmaster Jacks is motueka and galaxy. Not sure if you have galaxy but Amarillo may be a good sub.

Yea. Been doing this since Motueka came out. I use it in Saison, Belgians, lite lagers, and Blonde ales.
