I'll probably keg but I won't brew.

Nothing more than a gravity reading on a BIPA and maybe swap out a full for an empty keg (hopefully).

95% chance that I will NOT brew. Still need to finish the "renovations" to the brewing area.

No brewing this weekend. Not until the lager is ready. I'll only have room in the fridge for one more beer until after the end of the month. Then it's either gonna be a belgian or MLPA.

Starter tonight and brew Friday. It's supposed to rain then.

Good Lord willing, I'll be TIGing up the rest of the fan housing vent extension.
Then I'll have to make the shroud that covers my welding bench.
Then I'll have to run the 4" hose and test the system.
Then I can continue to make the SS316 rings so I can practice.
Then.. well practice, practice, practice.
Then I can finally finish hacking the bottom off of my 27gal Blichman and weld in a 3" Tri-clove.
Then I can figure out what to do with the racking port.
Then, if I haven't trashed the conical, I can weld in some external cooling channels.
These might incorporate the racking port, not sure just yet.
Then I can see if the lid still fits
Then I can hook up the external chiller (read donated water cooler)
Then I can rig up external corregated plastic external cover
Then I can foam it with the low expansion stuff in a can.
Then we can pick the second batch of Cascade
Then we can brew 14 gal of RyePA.
And somebody said this was a "fun" hobby!
I figure 2017.. maybe late 2018.

Glad I saw this and realized I have a wedding in 7 weeks and I should get couple batches in by then. I think I'll knock out an IPA this weekend.

I would like to brew, but it is not in the cards.
FRIDAY:
Golf tomorrow morning with the wife and kid.
Prepare for guests to come over at 4:00... grill out... drink... talk smart
SATURDAY:
Go to Sprecher Brewery for a tour with same friends...
Come home, grill out... drink... talk smart... shoot off a couple hundred dollars worth of fireworks
SUNDAY:
Help transport 27 Boy Scouts to Summer Camp and come back in the evening.
It'll be a good weekend, but I'd love to get something on tap soon. I've got the ingredients for another wheat beer, so that will be happening soon.

I'm actually doing it! 3rd brew of the year and I'm half way through the mash. Now I need to schedule time in 2 weeks to brew again and I'll have 2 kegs of wedding ready beer.

Gelling the lager today. Alt and kolsch are ready to drink, they need a little settling though they have a little carb bite.

I brewed today.

Oh man. I tapped the alt. It's good. It's not clear yet though, needs about a week. The bitterness/malt balance is really good on this one. I didn't use the hop basket in this batch and I think I got better isomerization. It's a tasty beer. I can't wait for Ken to try it.
