The first time I did, I put them back on wrong.  Lots of foam coming out of the keg  :)

I take qds apart often.

I usually use oxy clean. I'm not convinced beer line cleaner is worth buying separately.

I recently built a pump based system using a marxch pump that was once part of my brewery. I do each tap separately dump into bucket that gets recirced for abotu 15 min. Once with PBW and once with Star San.

Someone in my club also has a set up to daisy chain all the lines together and clean all at once using little brass flare t's. This seems like too much to take apart every time to me.

I really need to take apart my QDs, I've been bad about that lately. I finally got some o-rings for my Perlicks that weren't stupid expensive. NO MORE LEAKS! They're like brand new again. That worn o-ring can turn a nice faucet into a garbage faucet real quick. I only had 2/6 that didn't leak. Speaking of o-rings and kegs, if you need to replace a lot,  McMaster-Carr. Got some silicone o-rings for the posts, like 100 for a few bucks. 5+ years still good.

I've actually found the Amazon pricing on o-rings to be reasonable, and because it varies over time, it can actually be an excellent deal with prime shipping.
