Congratulations to me....this is my 1000th post. :frank:

I've had a mason jar with a pretty good size slurry of Munich Lager yeast sitting in my fridge for about six months.  Is it worthless or would a couple of spins on the stir plate getter going again?

I'm sure there's enough viability to get it going again.

Know anyone with a microscope?

If you do decide to use it, make a light starter, like 1.012 gravity first, use some nutrient, then bump it up as if it were a regular starter from there.

Good tip on the smaller starter...thanks Schwanz!

I'll give it a go and see what activity I can get from the starter.
