Hey Fellas, have a vial, never used it. Wondering if I can pull out a clear beer using it. If I recall I've read that much of the fog stays in suspension.

I assume you mean Conan?  You can try using some bio-fine or something like that.  Heady Topper takes a LOOOONG time to drop, I had a can that was about a year old and it was pretty clear when I dumped it.  I like clear beer especially my hoppy beers but sometimes you just have to accept that it will be cloudy and go with it.

I ask b/c I'm trying not to make a purchase for my next batch and have a tube on hand. But my Alt'ish/Amber I'm designing, I want clear. Thanks for the response.

I would personally NOT use that strain for an alt or an amber unless you were going to hop it up and utilize the peach flavor that the yeast puts out.

True. I read that. I am going to get some 1272 instead.

Or if you still have 1450 on hand use that.

I do. I aXed Denny about the clarity and he said temp and time. I might just do that.
