My wife came up with the name, I was drawing a blank. I don't think this really has a much of a style anyway. Came up with this while going through inventory and just trying to get rid of some things.

Ha, good name.

Interesting recipe, I'll be curious to hear how it turns out.

That cherry smoked malt has a very unique taste and imho not for the uninitiated.

That is a fair amount of smoked malt, I use about 13% in my smoked brown.  Mine is beech-wood smoked I believe and I have not use the cherry smoked so I am not sure how it would translate.  You have a lot going on in this beer, I will be interested to see how it comes out.

to back this up - that's a noticeably smokey beer.  not like a rauchbier but smokey all the same.

So far from the sample I pulled after brewing and during the brewing process the smoke was faint. Much less than the smokey brown at 13%. I will add that this malt is over a year old so I'm wondering if it has faded a bit.

This beer finished at 1.018 so about 7%. It is good and smoky. Maybe just me but I pick up a slight cherry/fruit thing going on. It is an interesting beer for sure. I thought I would have a problem going through 10gal of this but I had a couple guys try it yesterday and they all love it. So shouldn't be a problem. It's definitely a full beer. I could have probably reduced the chloride a bit but that's splitting hairs.
