The MW-101 was $62 on the water-testers site. Same probe on both 101 and 102. MW102 has ATC and auto-calibration whereas the MW101 is manual.

if they are buying the sub $20 variety I wouldn't be surprised at all.
not these are usully in between the $20 types and the $100 types, the only ones I've heard good reviews of are the Milwaukee

sounds like not a bad way to go then. I've had good look with the colorpHast strips but I guess I can never really be sure.
