They have it in Woburn.  A pack of yeast lasts me so long, that I usually only buy it twice a year: a fresh pack of Ale yeast in the Spring and a fresh pack of Lager yeast in the Fall.

yeah - woburn is a last resort for me just b/c it's not super convenient.  I have to send the wife.

When I find time to brew, my list is simply US-05.  I like to keep my yeast choices simple while I play with other variables.

There is something to be said for that approach. Meanwhile I just keep fecking around with a lot of yeasts. I'll settle that down to 3-4 yeasts eventually.

Pretty good list for me.  Just take out 1450 and add in 1318

I remember buying 1469 after it was discussed here and using it but for the life of me I cannot remember in what or how I liked it.

Not as much as I used to. I like bitters and would brew them a lot when I had a lot of golding hops kicking around.  Since I do not have that hop or many English hops I have not brewed one in a few years.  I have a feeling that the 1469 was used in a Mild but I can not be 100% sure.

All this talk of 1469 has me interested. I probably won't get around to it for over a year, but I'll probably do a british series using the yeast. I am currently doing my 1272 and 1084 series, so I want to finish them out and not buy any more yeast right now.

It has been years since I've done the British styles, so when I get around to the next spurt of brewing, I think I'll do the british series starting with an ordinary bitter, and going from there. My wife is due in early January with our second child, so it may be a while before I get around to the British beers.
