I noticed discussions regarding the file size over at the AHA forum.  I have to be honest - I thought it sounded really good but perhaps I wouldn't notice increased compression.  I have noticed that on some other podcasts that it's harder to understand what people are saying.  you guys were very easy to hear on my fairly cheap sony headphones.

Well, I've spent close to 50 years as an audio engineer so audio quality is pretty important to me.  I'm gonna play with file size vs. audio quality on the nest one and see if I can make it smaller without sacrificing too much.

I have tried to listen a couple of times from work but for some reason it just stops playing.  I am going to blame our firewalls.  I will have to give it a go at home.

It came out yesterday.  We talk about the recent ruling that the term "craft beer" meaningless, "brewing robots" like the Pico, Zymatic, Brewie, etc., answer some questions, do a quick tip about preserving your chest freezer.  Next episode (in 2 weeks) will start the interviews we did in the Bay area.  Brewers from The Rare Barrel, 21A and Faction along with Nick Imperilatti from Yeast Bay.

so maybe I'm about to embarrass myself but did you compress this second podcast more?  I'm hearing what I can only guess are compression artifacts that I was not hearing on the first podcast.

I'm mostly hear it on Denny's voice - especially when it stops talking.  I can hear it on drew as well though.

Are you sure it isn't your digital player compressing it because of limited bandwidth?
