Positive pressure on the airlock and sitting at 63.  I think it will be a fine beer, higher OG than I wanted but that is OK.  I ended up boiling off 1.75g in 30 minutes... oops!

wow!  nice job drunkie!

Sober as could be that is the sad part.  I have to re-brew and amber ( topic for another thread) this week so I may give the 30 minute batch another go.

Brewed 10 gallons of my Winter ESB.  Pale, Munich, and 60.  EKG's and Willamette throughout and fermenting with 1968.

Bubbling away at 66° right now!

That sounds like a nice drinker.  What gravity?

1.057 was my OG and I hopped it to 30 IBU's.

It's actually a clone of Schlafly's ESB.

Awesome. Sounds a lot like a beer I have put together and is on my list to brew.

It's a really nice beer, probably my favorite of the Winter season.  You can give it little a spice by adding rye flakes too.  I've found it adds a bit of "toastyness" to the beer.

Yeah I can see that rye being a nice addition. I have so many beers thought through and so little time (and livers, brain cells, etc.)!

I was planning on Rahr Pale Ale malt in lieu of your 2-row and munich, and probably 6-9% of british C80 instead of C60, plus an ounce or 2 of roasted barley.

Then 3-4 oz. EKG/Willamette between 10 min and the WP. WLP002 on the cold side or WLP001. But really pretty similar to yours in concept.
