Yep. only readon I haven't made any IPA or APA with it yet is because sometimes my beer will sit around for a few months before it's all gone. Hoppy beers need to be fresh and I don't want to give people beer that may be 2.5 months old and not be very good because the hops have changed. I'll make some hoppy beer in a couple months though because I'll have events for it where it will disappear fast. That means I get to keep a keg for personal consumption usually.

I know what you mean about the esters in kolsch. I am thinking of using subsequent generations of the yeast for lager styles, just to keep it going until I need it for kölsch again.
