I have two beers fermentating and both are stuck at 1020.  Should I add more yeast?  Its been 4 weeks.

First time this has happened to me.

Stupid me,  I was checking it with my refractometer,  popped in the hydrometer and it read just fine.     I guess I have so much going on right now with the move and all I'm a bit stupid.

No shame in that oversight!! It would be nice to use a refractometer after fermenting since you use much less volume to test than a hydrometer sample, more beer to drink. 🍻

You can use the refractometer, but you need to do an addtional calculation. It requires having an accurate OG as well. I've done it, but i've still found it to be off from hydrometer readings, so YMMV.
