Last night I pickled all my new brass QD's  I was surprised how fast the water turned green.  Now I need to get the pinch clamps and hook them all up.

was there some controversy over whether this was better or worse than leaving it alone?  I had a brass valve for a while but I replaced it with SS so I could stop thinking about it.

I think there was a podcast with Jamil and Robert Palmer where Palmer (who is a metallurgist by trade) said that it didn't matter at all for modern brass valves.

From that link it looks like you need to do the process again and don't let it soak too long this time.

McMaster 6739K57 mates with those female DCs and fits 3/8 tubing well enough to sweat to it.

Didn't pickle mine.
