Here's what I brewed today:

74% Weyermann Pils

15% Weyermann Munich I

3.7% C-40

3.7% wheat malt

3.7% cane sugar (added at high krausen, 3 days into 1°)

Cascade (FWH) to 20 IBUs

Magnum (bittering) to 35 IBUs

Cascade (15 min) to 17 IBUs

East Kent Goldings (10 min) to 6 IBUs

East Kent Goldings (30-min hopstand) to 5 IBUs

US-05 will handle the heavy lifting in the primary.  This one looked and smelled fantastic going into the primary.

This one should land at ~8%, 84-ish IBUs, and ~8-ish SRM, just in time for the Fourth of July.

Very nice.

Cascade and EKG

Thanks!

and I agree whole-heartedly, Cascade and EKG work well together.  I've made this recipe 4-5 times now, and the Cascade/EKG schedule above has always turned out well.

Pictures (and tasting notes, if anyone is interested) will be posted once the beer is kegged/tapped next month.
