I need to look into 1272, one of oyr best local breweries uses it as a house yeast and there brews are stellar, I like 1450, but it's floccing leaves something to be desired, and I've had it with US -05 in that regard.
I don't really have problems with 1450 floccing. US-05 does take an extra week or so compared to most stuff but it's mostly aesthetic and doesn't really seem to affect taste.

it's not as good a floccer as some of the english strains , but not as bad as 05
not a fan of yeast bite in a beer I want clean :shrug:

I might be confusing 1450 and 1056, I do like 1450 but I'd like a tad more ester.
