The neatest thing about this this plastic conical is the jar attachment. That's a good practical idea.

my current post-fermentation process doesn't involve doing any of those steps.  this would actually be more complicated than what I currently do.

I applaud innovators and maybe I would be interested in all of this if I didn't already have the equipment I have. Storing my stuff isn't a problem and I rarely need to get to the yeast before I'm going to transfer the beer out anyway. Yes, transferring is a PITA to a point but I'm used to it. One day when I'm old and cranky I could see myself getting something easy and straightforward to streamline things.

I guess the main thing that could help me with is racking.  but I could also just get a bucket with a racking arm spigot thingy installed in it.

Or you could CO2 rack to a keg... just saying :)

right on time!

I knew it was a softball for me :)

I raked last night and the beer was already at 5PSI from spunding.  Should save on carbonation time.

I'm sure that there are newbies who see all of the equipment that homebrewers use and scratch their head about it. In the vid, the voiceover says "all you need is ingredients and a spoon". Wait, what? No scale, thermometer, pH meter or water treatment ingredients? I suppose if you brew extract as they do in the video... maybe. Anyway, someone just getting into the hobby might see this as a nice way to avoid having a ton of equipment. As it is I got rid of all the glass in my brewery years ago and now I can throw all of my Better Bottles in the attic since I'm skipping secondary. Hooray!

I got rid of glass because I knew I was on borrowed time with an accident.

I am glad to see the thing in the OP has a big butterfly valve though.  That seems to be the problem with most of these devices, they have a 1/2 port and get clogged quickly.  Now if they could make that cheaply in SS and able to hold some pressure it would be sweet.

I'd like something that just cleans and sanitizes itself so I can just focus on the beer making part :D

LOL. My kid walked in where I was brewing the other day with his finger up his nose asking "Hey Dad, can I help?" True story.

It seems like every time I was at a point where beer/wort was vulnerable, the dog or one of my kids came sniffing around. Coughing, sneezing, the kids wanted to make food, opening the garbage can, etc. Let's talk about that in 10 minutes shall we?

I like the ability to attach a ball jar, but the slope of the conical doesn't look steep enough.

I also thought that.  I believe it was 45* and most others are 60*.

It's the idea I like. If I was brewing 5 gal batches this might interest me but I'd likely go the drew route.

Can't see that it's anything I need, but everybody has different needs.
