I have kind of mixed feelings about AB InBev.  They are kind of big deal around here and I have family members who worked for the distributer that was essentially owned by them.  I also appreciate their QC and am hoping that translates into some really awesome macro-craft beer in the near future.

but I worry about the business practices.  I hope that they don't squeeze out all of the little guys as well.  I don't think they'll ever really get rid of them but they might just make it a little harder to get local beer.

Bosteels is a very long time family operation IIRC.

I feel fairly certain they'll ruin all of these breweries in the long run. It'll take a while but it will happen. I don't think the craft brew scene will be any worse off for all the acquisitions going on. There will always be appetite for creating new beers and breweries. Beer culture is really getting to a self-sustaining point IMO. There's way too many breweries to consolidate at this point and the industry is still growing. I'm not worried.
