why does smuttynose beer taste like beer made in the late 90s/early 2000s to me?  heavy use of crystal or something?  a certain yeast?  certain hops?  I still like it just fine but it def brings me back to that era of craft beer.

in particular I have recently had some shoals pale ale and some finest kind IPA.  both respectable beers for the price.

I may have to pick up a 6 pack of one of their beers and give it a try.  I can not remember the last time I had anything from Smutty.

I've never tried any of their beers but I've made the Finest Kind IPA (from Steele's IPA book) a few times and really like it.

Easy there buddy lol... I've got another 10 years or so to work... the way I figure it, if you love your job, and I do, there is zero reason to retire

Well your parents sound old, or rich. Because in my college ages my Dad would have been in his 40's.
