Made a simple pale ale yesterday.  30 minute mash, 30 minute boil.  Fly sparge takes an hour+ to boil here.  Went pretty well, still got kegging and fermenter prep in during the sparge.  Started fermenting before the Chiefs fiasco.  3:20 from mash in to final cleanup for 10 gallons.  I'll know how it turns out in a few weeks.

Definitely report back. Been really liking the 30 min boils myself. Have yet to try mashing less than an hour but I'm pretty sure it would work fine for several recipes.

Yup! Mash for me varies because I am always doing something else during that time but I have done some short ones without issue.

Went on tap tonight.  As good as anything I've made in the last few months.  I bit cloudy but I quit using whirlfloc several months ago.  Most clear with time.

I wouldn't hesitate to do this again, n=1.  I'll try it again but it won't be a new routine.  Most brewdays I want to last 4 - 4.5 hours since it usually involves a ride on the exercise bike (mash), kegging and fermenter prep too.

30 minutes have been my mainstay for about a year. Works great for me.
