I can't remember which internet homebrew place used to send the magazine and the starter kit photo wasn't very different from this. It was usually two young guys and two women watching them brew. Same thing neatly dressed like it was a formal occasion.

I think it needs to be said that a brewing session is NOT something where the beautiful people would be sitting there in their finest, etc. Brewdays (for me anyway) are constant action, walking back and forth between the kitchen, the basement and the garage, racking, cleaning, stirring, etc. and those people sitting there watching that pot for 60 minutes would be bored. Very bored. I suppose if they were brewers themselves or BJCP judges or beerheads, etc. then maybe but... it just seems overly glossy to me and not very accurate... again, based on my buds who brew. Also, I did say, "WE JUDGE NOT" so I think we're all on the same page.

Keep in mind that they're not making an AG beer, either

Extract brewing is fairly low intensity compared to AG. More like cooking. Throw the ingredients in, cook it up and you're done. Well, something like that. :)
