I need to get a beer brewed this weekend for a contest. 12 pounds of base malt, no other malts can be used. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Any base malt? Vienna Lager, since it's under discussion around here this week.

That would be cool but they provided the malt- all competitors use the same base malt. I believe it is American 2 row.

I'm researching damfbier now. The beer needs to be ready in 2 weeks.

I plan to make an epic version of my Bordertown Mexican Dark Lager. Epic because it's been a little while and it will be the first batch of this made with brewtan. Also epic because I'll be using WLP830 which I haven't done in awhile. All of my latest brewtan beers have been coming out so nicely so I'm looking forward to it. Looks like it will be Sunday morning. This has grown to be one of my favorite beers. Pilsner, Munich 2, flaked corn, CaraMunich, Carafa, Magnum to bitter to about 24-25 IBUs, Hallertau Mitt with about 20m left in the boil, 830. Dark, smooth, velvety & delicious. Cheers & enjoy your brewdays Beerheads!

I would like to brew up a Milk Stout.  I have never brewed one but think it is about time.

I wouldn't see any point in making a sub 5% MS anyway. Go big and milky! Hmmmm, kinky....

I've got grain crushed for Noti Brown in the Grainfather to compare it to a "cooler" batch.  Dunno when I'm gonna have time to actually brew it, though.
