Interesting for sure. My brother called me first thing this morning and told me. He is very worried about Todd the Axeman himself. He is a regular there, goes there multiple times a week after work. He is kinda obsessed.

Oh my brother also told me that Omar had just recently fired Todd's wife from the brewery. So maybe had something to do with it. Rumor has it in MN that he is going to start his own brewery.

I don't really follow these guys because they don't really make my style of beer. But it occurs to me that someone like this (Todd) has a vision to do something different but eventually what was new and innovative becomes mainstream (especially in the eyes of someone like Todd) and when you're no longer on the cutting edge like that, it's not fun anymore. So he leaves the brewery to someone else to continue on and Todd finds something else to innovate. It's like a musician who creates something new but eventually everyone else is doing the same thing and record companies swoop in and now it's not fun or innovative anymore.

Yes, I think that was earlier this year and some said the writing was on the wall.

Tides wife "resigned" earlier this year according to the rumor mill. I have to believe Todd is NOT finished with the beer world, but I wonder what kind of agreement he might be subjected to...

Also, you should come to Chicago next April. Todd should be up and running at 3 Floyds by then.
