So a buddy has 2 kegs he bought about 10 months ago stored in a cool area (not sure how cool). One is a Dos Equis and another is a Franziskaner. How long does an untapped keg last before it goes bad? These are half barrels for a party that never happened. He wouldid sell for $75 each just to get some money back (or just return to store for $50 kay for the deposit).

I've had my own beer around that long and it's generally been fine but mine was also kept in a fridge.  I bet those beers are a lot less than great by now.

That's what I'm worried about. Plus it's a lot of beer I don't particularly love. I drink Dos Equis when I got out to the Mexican restaurant though. He did say if it sucks he return my money...
