I ordered one of these bottle fillers and it gets delivered today.  I hate bottling so I hope this makes my life much easier.  I will be posting a review tonight after I figure it out and fill a few bottles.   Anyone here have one and if so what do you think about it.

While I do not have it I know someone that does and he really likes it and says it does all the PR Propaganda says it will.  I do like that it has flair fittings for the beer connection.  That is one areas of the Beer Gun that I dislike and I may try and modify mine to match.

Ha. Yeah, I have one. It's been sitting in the box for almost a year. Definitely check back in with your thoughts.

Have you used it at all?

Why?

Tons of reasons really. Mostly lack of time, too many other life priorities taking precedence. If/when I have time for brewing related stuff these days it's been pretty much confined to getting a beer made and getting it to the keg. I have all the stuff to finish a keezer build and really want to incorporate the Last Straw in that build to simplify growler/bottle fills. I'll get it done sooner or later but the last year or so has not been kind for projects of this sort.

I've always thought that I need a gun of some sort when I want to bottle some of my beer. Usually I just deflate the pressure from a keg and fill growlers or bottles with zero hassle. What am I missing by not using a fancy filler?

Mostly the ability to effectively purge the bottle of O2 before filling.

yeup.  and I'll say I only get my beer gun out if I'm going to do at least 12+ bottles.  it's a bit of a pain to clean and setup but it does a good job of filling the bottles.  I'd say much like normal bottling it would be helpful to have someone with you to sanitize and cap bottles while you go.

I have been wanting to bottle some beer for weeks and I can just not muster the energy to do it.
