I'm on vaca this week. I'd be crazy not to knock out a few batches, right? Right?!?!

I brewed 10 gal of Rye Pale Ale in Mid-November and I have yet to kick keg #1. two batches this week would probably get me through next year! :D OK, probably not. A buddy wants to do some splits, so that will get the beer flowing faster. I've been dying to get the new BIAB system rocking. Updates to come...

Yep, brew if you have the time and the desire. Let us know what you make. If you think that these batches won't be consumed relatively quickly, be careful making hoppy recipes... that fresh hop character will fade by the time you start drinking them.

Correct, you'd be a right lunatic for not making the most of your time off by brewing.  :D

Just made Jamil's and am considering it as a house staple.  Straight forward, simple and delicious.

Yeah, I'll likely go with Jamil's as well. I made it years ago and liked it alot.

Finishing up my 1 vessel BIAB today. Making my insulation jacket right now. 2" of PIR foam. The plan is to direct fire to get up to temp then kill heat and wrap the jacket. After the mash is done, pull the bag and insulation jacket, boil and chill in the kettle. For now i'm going to go with a traditional ferment chamber but the plan in the long run is to go with an internal coil that will chill the wort and act as a HX to control ferment temp. I need to get custom coil done for that.
