Anyone have experience using this?   The description sounds like something I would like (i really like a biscuit flavor).     I don't have a LHBS, so i'm looking at doing a grain order that will hold me over through the summer.  Buying an all-grain kit here and there really adds up quick.

Fully modified plump 2-row kernels with a full flavor profile. Okefenokee Pale Malt is a sweet flavorful base malt perfect for a 100% grain bill.

  • Slight biscuit-like flavor and a touch of nuttiness.
  • Gives a clean golden wort, with a rich one-of-a-kind flavor.
  • Use up to 100% of the grain bill.
  • *Save $0.20/lb on 10+ pounds*
  • Color: 2.3-2.8L

I saw this at rite-brew as well. I have not used it but ideally would like to try it at some point. If you end up buying some let us know how it is.

Will do neddles.  I've got two brews on deck and won't do those until i get my Ward results back.   Probably wouldn't get to brew with this till May/June.

Sounds good but the only thing that would worry me is hop selection.  It says "sweet flavorful base" so I would be careful not to use a lot of the "new" fruity hops because I find those add a sweetness tot eh beer even when there is no crystl malt present.  I wold be a touch concerned of an overly sweet beer.  I may be reading too much into it though.

a light ale using 100% of this for the grain and an easy hop at 60 minutes?    Or in your case, 30 minutes?

100% two track and then 100% centennial at 30, 10 and 0 ferment with S-05.  You could do a light dry hop if you choose and be drinking it in 2 weeks ( if you keg)

Extract, DP, hopefully S/T protein ratios.  That has a some of those.  Extract at 80% means somewhere around 32 ppg max IIRC.  DP is 105 so that's great.  S/T isn't listed.  I don't see any red flags in the analysis, though.
