Ok, I'm doing a 90 minute boil and I'm like 10 minutes in and I see this small frog floating around in the boil.  I got him out and have no idea where he came from.  I just cleaned the pot 20 minutes prior to draining the mash tun.   Should I worry about this or just add it as one of the additions?

is it possible the frog is toxic?  I'm not familiar with your frogs.

Lick him. If there are no ill effects, it's fine!

Sincerely. First a dirty diaper and now this. My guess is that you boiled all of the sorcery out of him. Brew on.

Rain frog?  Those bastards jump into anything liquid.  If you boiled it, you're good.

This beer is going to have a 'psyche' quality. It's like frog legs. They're good to eat. Taste like chicken. But there's still a thought that ur eatin a frog..... In your case, drinking a frog.

about 4 or 5 years ago I brewed Memory Lapse Pale Ale.  I think I modified with a different hop, can't remember.

At any rate, i had several buddies over to try and kill the keg and to pay them (in beer) for helping me move out an ex-girlfriend.   They kept killing those beers.  In fact, around 10pm I told them I was going to bed and they kept drinking till midnight.

A few weeks later I started hearing the stories.  One buddy said he had to pull over at the bottom of the road because he was too drunk to drive, another buddy said he had crazy dreams about gigantic spiders that were encrusted in gems (apparently he woke up talking about them and it freaked his wife out because he was talking about killing it), then the other buddy just said that he couldn't believe how drunk he got on that "easy drinking beer."

To this day they ask me when i'm going to brew that "psychedelic beer" again.    Or if I offer them beer, they always ask if it will make them go crazy like that last homebrew.
