Thanks, everyone! Most of the faucets I've seen online have a "P" stamped into the flat spot on the front of the faucet; mine don't have that. I'll cross check the 425s to see if the internals match. I may have my LHBS price out an order 4 of the Intertap springs anyway...if they don't work, I can sell them or just absorb the small cost. Were the 425s plated or stainless?

I know my 425's are SS inside and out.  There were some versions that had plastic spouts and guts.

I have a couple of the plastic ones.  They are on the portable cooler.  I could buy SS guts to upgrade them but at this point I just do not see the point.

Sometimes I have a keg of something in the on-deck fridge that someone wants to drink. I'll just connect a cobra tap to it and go back there and tap glasses of it. You know what? It's delicious! :D I don't necessarily want to do that all the time but I have no issue with it. I plan to have some parties in the backyard this summer where kegs are served with cobra taps. :frank:

Just heard back from the owner of the LHBS and he's going to order a few of those self-closing springs for me. I'll try them out when they come in and report back.
