Firing up the kettle tomorrow early, for a batch of my Moving Day pale ale.

The weather people say tomorrow should be nice for brewing (high of 70°F, low humidity, and sunny.  I'll take it).

Grains are crushed, water is filtered/measured out, and half a bucket of water is chilling in my lager fridge for post-boil chilling.

Anyone else firing up their kettles this week?

Nope. Have not brewed since early March. Not seeing an end in sight to this drought either.  :(

That sucks but I know what you mean, fingers crossed it breaks for you.

I plan to get the Czech lager I planned out in the recipe section on day this weekend. Also need to move the Simcoe APA with cryo hops to the brite tank.

Possibly a Crystal Pale Ale with 1056 one day this week. The temps here for the past 2 days have been low-to-mid 70s but the weekend has some 90s in store for us. Not sure whether to brew in the 90s or spend the whole weekend in the pool. :D

That's all we have been doing. Do both!
Kegging a Golden Lager, transferring an Amber to 2nd, Brew Club Meeting Saturday and grilling a Picanha over hardwood for dinner.

Planned on brewing last Sunday night, but wasnt feeling it. The starter is hanging out in the fridge. Gonna make a California common, and going to do a open fermentation with it; because i liked the results when i did it with a APA.

My plan is to brew a German oils using 100% Mecca Grade Pelton malt.  We'll see what reality has to say.

I'm off the next couple weekends but I've probably brewed about 100 gallons in the last 12 weeks.  Company coming the weekend after next (Drew and family!) with all the in town relatives too.  Too much stuff to get ready.  Plenty in the pipe around here.

None for me.  Out of town the next 2 weekends and then on call the 3rd.     Need to get another weissbier going.   The keg is getting light...

Looking more and more like a Saturday AM brewday on a Crystal Pale Ale... Rahr Pale Ale malt, wheat, CaraRuby, Nugget to bitter and four ounces of Crystal in the last 15 minutes of the 30 MINUTE BOIL... my second one in as many weeks. Cheers.

I just brewed last night, a traditional bock using W34/70.  I am doing an experiment following along with what brulosophy did, and am fermenting at 65F.

I hope to brew again later this week too. I'm trying to time my brewdays with my racking to kegs so that I can reuse the yeast and just keep it going, I have two fermenters going right now with different yeasts, so I can alternate the styles of brews that I do.

I brewed this Crystal Pale Ale yesterday afternoon. A thank-you to Drez for the 30m boil suggestion because my propane tank ran out right at 30m. The idea that I might get twice the brewdays out of one propane tank is a huge plus. Cheers.

Hope it all works for you.  I know it works great for me!
