Upscaling for a third time my Altbier at one of the local breweries here. Always fun and exciting to brew 15bll of your beer. Technically it's the pub's beer since they are selling it. But you get the gist.

That's cool. Is it just that they want to have that beer on hand or did you win a contest or something? I know that a number of our members here have been able to brew their beer on a commercial system... really cool. Cheers.Upscaling for a third time my Altbier at one of the local breweries here. No contest. They have been drinking my homebrew for years and asked me to upscale. After the first time, I thought it would never happen again. This will be the third time just because they like it I suppose.

What do they call it there?

So do THEY brew it or do YOU brew it? Do you get any props like they call it ANDY'S ALT or any of that? Do they KNOW the recipe or do you keep it a secret? What if they start brewing it year-round and make zillions of dollars off of it and you're left out in the cold eating wet cigarette butts? Hypothetical of course.

I get to help brew it on their system.
It's called FireHouse Altbier, how unique!

Had a great day. Hit all our numbers. I was surprised with a new logo. They are planning tap handles and t-shirts for sale.

That's awesome Andy. If those shirts ever hit the web, please let us know so I can order one online. I would totally buy that shirt so I could brag that someone I [electronically] know brews that beer. Cheers.

Sweet, I will get you hooked up with a t-shirt when they come out. I thought the logo turned out pretty cool myself. The truck and the station in the background is actually one of our city's restored parade trucks and actual Firehouse.

You make awesome beer, my friend! That's quite an honor and even more so that it's happened three times.

A local meat counter went around to 3 brew pubs in our area to sample beers for some upcoming beer brat projects. My collaboration beer was one of the ones chosen. Yup, they will be on the grill tonight!
