So I'm a beer glass whore like many of you. I love a good beer glass and sometimes I ... ahem ... borrow one or two. Last September my wife and I were on a cycling trip in Croatia and for dinner one night we found this great outdoor place and had an awesome dinner. We were drinking the Croatian beer (Korlovacko or Ojuszko) and the restaurant gave us these glasses...

Interesting design with a triangular bottom. Of course I asked my wife to casually walk out of the restaurant drinking the rest of her beer and I did the same... no one said a word. I put them in my bag and they continued on with us throughout Croatia, to Athens, Santorini, Frankfurt and eventually home. One of them didn't survive the trip and the other was broken in the dishwasher. They had some sentimental value so I emailed the company (Bavaria which is actually a beer brewed in Holland) and asked if I could buy them online. I got an email back from Danielle at Bavaria who asked for my address and said she would send me a whole box of them! Cool! You just never know, you know? :D

That is sweet.  That is a neat looking glass.  I have too much glassware but that never stops me!

I see that I posted a pic of a beer with this glass. Page 31 of the PICTURE OF YOUR PINT thread.

What is the capacity of that?  Looks like a nice smaller glass.  Or you have giant hands LOL.

I feel like it was a 12oz or 16oz glass. 20cl means 1/5th of a liter and 25cl is 1/4 liter, right? I have a lot of .5 liter, .4 liter and .3 liter glassware. Also... Drez did something I couldn't do. I could not find those glasses online which is why I sent the email. But I suppose it's better... now I get them free! Free I tells ya! :D

Free is so much better.

All I did was put Bavaria Glass in google and then look at images for one that looked like what you posted.  20cl is about 6.75oz and 25cl is 8.5oz.  Maybe they make others that I did not find.

I did a image search and found one but it was not on a site where you could purchase it online. I need to work on my Google-Fu.

Also, these glasses that I borrowed were larger than that. At least 12 ounces if not 16. But now that I see that they make them in a smaller size, the question becomes... which ones will she send me? Mmm, surprises, surprises.

Nice, when you get them put me on the list for a glass!   :)

Hey! Maybe we need a beer-glass-for-beer-tshirt exchange program. :D

I see that a liter is about 33 ounces. So a half-liter of beer is about a pint... 16.5 ounces or so. .4 liters is about 13.2 ounces and .33 liters is about 11 ounces. My guess is that these were 40cl glasses just from my memory.
