I also used the Accumash water treatment packs for them. Initial tasting says they worked well!

I read that one. I've used 34/70 and 2124 on the same recipes and consider them to be similar enough to be interchangeable. Amazing that 72F wasn't different tho.
I read somewhere (might have been Mosher) that 2124 is routinely used up to 75F in some small German breweries. It's my favorite steam beer yeast actually.

The malt distribution is very limited. He mainly sells direct. You can also get it through FH Steinbart in Portland OR.
