For ingredients I have ordered dry yeast and extract for starters but I have also got a bunch of SS fittings and what not for my brewery.

I feel like it's just another option. I have three local places and I will occasionally order from an online supplier like Label Peelers, RiteBrew, etc. I originally didn't realize that they even carried any of this stuff. The wheat I bought was something like $16 so $1.60 per pound which is not bad but it's not the cheapest I've seen either.
KenLenard right? if you are are the places you referencing bevart and the like?

I scored an awesome SS CFC recently on amazon. Got some ascorbic acid and sodium metabisulfite too. Have done any ingredients, though. Might have to look into prime shipping for yeast, though.

Come to think of it, my first pH meter and my current stainless chiller were off of Amazon too. But "ingredients" are something else. The fact that I might be able to find sacks of grain on Amazon and not pay shipping could be pretty good. I have not bought hops or liquid yeast from there yet but you never know.
I could see them being good for fittings and parts too.
Looked at that stainless chiller a few times and when I went back to pull the trigger it went from $103 to $138. Feckers.

Hold the phone. What? $138 for a 25' stainless chiller? I seem to remember that RiteBrew was involved in that somehow and that it was quite reasonable... like $40 or so. I either misspoke and got it at RiteBrew or it was sold by RiteBrew on the Amazon site. I know I didn't pay 3 figures for it though... that's crazy talk.Looked at that stainless chiller a few times and when I went back to pull the trigger it went from $103 to $138. Feckers.

I get good results from 30 ft of 3/8" tube in 5 gallon batches, but Id guess that 50 ft of 1/2" could get you to 60F in 8-9 minutes
