English ESB thing I brewed a few weeks ago. Just kegged it. Came out 6.04%. Best tasting beer I've made coming out of the fermentor.

I'm sold in this fermentor, I just need to figure out how to keep a Co2 headspace when kegging. I have a couple of ideas in that though.

Nice looking beer, quick brew another.

Thought you got some suggestions on the CO2 issue from the Facebook 😀

Pulled a test pint, carbing up nicely. Reduced to serving pressure to finish up.

Has a considerable amount of chill haze. Hope it settles out soon. I'm impatient!

I think I am going to use my blowoff tube which is simply a three piece airlock with the top and bubbler removed and a tube put over the shaft in the middle. I put the other end in a starsan solution for primary. I think I'll use that same rigging and attach the other end to my Co2 and turn it on very low to keep a Co2 headsoace when kegging.

A good idea re: using CO2 at kegging.  Any way you could burp the headspace w/ CO2 before racking?

Just thinking this might help to minimize the likelihood of O2 making its way into the keg.

Yeah, I'll Purge the keg with Co2 first, then hook the hose up to the catalyst which will already have a headspace of Co2 and have the Co2 go in kind of slow to replace the volume being emptied from racking to the keg. If I get the flow right it should be oxygen free transfer. Well, extremely minimized oxygen.
