I got this fridge for free and it's just barely too small to fit a keg into.  Sucks, but I'm wondering if I have any options for customizing it to make one or two kegs fit.  Any idears?

I don't see kegs in there.  Fermentation chamber maybe.

Agreed; trying to convert this fridge into a kegerator will likely prove difficult, if not impossible.

I can't think of any good way to go about it. I have one that's probably the exact same size--I use it for fermentation. You can get good controllers (like the Inkbird) cheap these days. For kegs I bought an old, used full-sized fridge. Holds four easily, and I use the freezer for hop storage. :frank:

Use it for fermentation. Or get some 3 gallon kegs with the money you didn't have to spend on the fridge.

Come on you guys have no sense of adventure! If he got it for free and doesn't mind hacking it up I say go for it. The section separating the top and bottom could be cut out. I don't believe there is any coolant lines between there. Then you could lift a keg in through the hole above the keg and slide it in. Run the lines up the top and put shanks through the top door. If you cut all the stuff off of the front door you might fit two kegs?

This is exactly what I did on an old avocado green fridge. My kegs are in the bottom. Picnic taps hang on a board screwed into the freezer with hooks on it. Open the freezer door to pull a pint. Johnson controller sensor against one of the kegs covered by insulation lets the evap coil defrost in between cooling cycles as the defrost timer doesn't work. I pulled the door seal and panel off, laid the panel on a sheet of aluminum trailer panel and traced the outline. Now it is just a flush flat sheet.
