Thanks Geoff. Wow, your 1st three AGs were those recipes? Holy smokes. I meant to add those beers to the recipe forum here but I haven't gotten around to it, but I will do that soon. On a related note, I went to my LHBS on Saturday to pick up some stuff. One of my brewing buds works there on the weekends and the other guy that works there has gone to Siebel. I brought them both (coincidentally), Bases Loaded Blonde Ale, Memory Lapse Pale Ale and Home Run Red Lager (2 bottles each). I shared some of the Blonde with them and then took off. My buddy later posted a thread on our local board that the Siebel guy (his name is Billy Oaks) sampled some of the HRRL (made with Hallertau & White Labs 830 German Lager yeast) and said, "Damn fine beer!". My buddy said that this guy has never uttered those words after sampling someone's homebrew. https://www.brews-br...tyle_emoticons/default/headbang.gif :rolf: Cheers & good luck with the beers!

I was going to do that not this last saturday but the previous one, but due to unfortunate circumstances (brew buddy was 1.5 hours late!!) I ran out of time and only brewed the JPA. Please post back on the results of how it came out as I think this is going to be my next batch.Cheers!

I have MLPA fermenting away right now as well. I figure in about 3 weeks it will be on tap. Brewing it was wonderful as well. Mt Hood hops are great.

Well heck, I might as well pile on also. I have his Biergarten Pilsner on tap and the kolsch kegged and lagering right now. Most all of the lagers I have ever brewed came from Mayfair Court. Thanks for all the info buddy.Ash

Ive brewed two batches of Ken's Memory Lapse Pale Ale. It is the most requested beer from my friends. As a matter of fact, it is on the 'to brew' list in the #2 spot. Thanks again, Ken!!

KenL's a class act all the way. I've been a fan of Mexican food/lagers and he has helped me with that endeavor (as has ol' buddy, MAZ) with barely a nudge. Not just helpful but downright pleasantly eager.

Hey... just made my Hacienda Lager (a Victoria clone... sort of. That is, Victoria, brewed in Mexico since 1865) with White Labs 940 Mexican Lager yeast. Looking forward to it. Cheers guys.

I've got 11 gallons of the MLPA fermenting at a friend's house. I'm going to serve this up at my wife's art show in June. I'm following the single 60 minute hop addition version, though we subbed Carastan for the Crystal 60.I'm looking forward to giving it a sample soon.
